For over 25 years, the awards have recognised excellence across the entire food value chain evolving to reflect the priorities, progress and future direction of this dynamic industry.

Presented by Food South Australia, the state’s peak body for the food and beverage industry, the program honours both established food and beverage businesses and emerging brands, showcasing the incredible diversity and quality of what we produce right here in South Australia.

2026 Key Dates

The 2026 South Australian Premier's Food and Beverage Industry Awards will be officially launched on Sunday, 3 May 2026 at the Adelaide Showground Farmers' Market.
The Entry Submission Portal will open on Monday 4 May.

Sit back, relax, you’ve done the hard work. During this time judging will take place. Led by the Independent Chair of Judging, industry expert judges will judge Open Business and Open Individual award categories.
Support from the public is very important to our state's food and beverage manufacturers and producers, making the Consumer Choice Award, sponsored by Foodland Supermarkets, one of the most highly anticipated categories in the South Australian Premier's Food and Beverage Industry Awards program. The Consumer Choice Award lets South Australian’s decide who the state’s favourite food and beverage brands are!
The Foodland Retail Ready Program is offered exclusively to all award entrants, a unique opportunity to learn what it takes to be ‘Retail Ready’.
Finalists for the 2026 South Australian Premier’s Food and Beverage Industry Awards will be announced on Tuesday 6 October via our social media @foodsouthaus and direct contact.

The 2026 Hall of Fame inductee will be recognised for their outstanding contribution to the South Australian Food and Beverage Industry at the annual Hall of Fame Breakfast event held in February each year. Learn more about previous inductees and find out more on the Hall of Fame Info page.
